Who are we?
Yellow Crane Cookie Batter is a home
based business started in 2001, by Brian de Amorim, a Danish born,
raised and educated journeyman baker with more than 22 years of
experience in both European and Canadian baking.
Among his
credentials, other than his vast expertise and experience, is his
primary role in establishing both Mediterranean Bakery and Cafe in
Park Royal, South, as well as Michaels Artisan Bakery in South
Surrey.

Cookie Batter was never intended to be, and will never become, a
huge corporation or an 'international octopus' with suction cups all
over the World. We are strictly a hobby business, a 'fringe kitchen'
- and very proud of that! - that enables the baker and a couple of
other people do do something they are passionate about,
thoroughly enjoy and get a great deal of pleasure from.

Cookie Batter Specializes in high quality, freshly made from scratch
upon ordering cookie batters and our customer base includes private
individuals, hotels, canteens, schools, companies and corporations,
functions, fund raisers, etc. In short, anyone who likes freshly
baked, delicious cookies but just couldn't be bothered with the mixing,
the cleaning, the messy kitchens and impatient friends, family and
colleagues.
Please try our
cookie batter and you will find that they are exceptionally easy and
delicious. You simply keep the fresh batter in your fridge, and any
time you want to revel in the Heavenly taste and smell of fresh
cookies, you just take an ice cream scoop and scoop the batter right
onto a baking sheet, straight from the fridge, flatten lightly and
bake the cookies about 20-30 minutes around 350 F, depending on
your oven and the batter, itself. If you like some kind of topping on your cookies, scoop
them right into the topping, press down a little bit (to flatten
them) and then place them on baking sheet and proceed to bake.

comparable to any Chagall or Matisse. In his hands, flour and sugar
becomes what brush and paint was, in the hands of Picasso or Monet
and what hammer and chisel is, in the hands of Robert Davidson or
Donatello; with passion, everyday objects are transformed into
objects of beauty and admiration. A good baker is a true artist, and
should be recognized as such. Art lies in the boundaries between
imagination and creativity.
